That looks really good and clean. But something about taking your eyes of the road, having to look up that far to read the scangauge doesn’t seem practical. I personally think, mounting it once the steering colum is the best. Easy to look and doesn’t really obstruct the odometer.

Meh. I see what your saying but a lot of cars have info screens up there. I used to have an old jeep grand cherokee hat gave ambient temperature, compass, fuel mileage, etc up there.

If you could 3d print an option for US market overhead sunglass door replacements, you would have more business than you could handle.

I'd love this setup, but the JDM FMU bezel is going to be hard to come by- especially in colors like moon mist

Its a single button fmu housing. color - moon mist, assuming its 99+ late model moon mist because its a single button.

Yeah, empty field monitor housings are going to be a small market. The USDM sunglasses holder housing is what would be best to start from.

Yep, agreed. If you could create a design for both styles you'd be selling them like hot cakes I'm sure.

I had always planned on designing one for the USDM console also as I know that one is the most popular, but admittedly, it will be a much more difficult design and printed part. I do also plan to start designing some switch panels for various places in the cabin (is there a standard size switch most people use?)
