You are hilarious Thai. Every chance you get, you can't wait but to throw some low-blows in my direction.

For your information, the reason I thought I would be making the spacers was because I received 80lbs of polyurethane from the company supplying it and at the time, Anthony was the only one making spacers and didn't have time to, so we were slowly getting the parts and pieces I would need to start making them.

go ahead and ask the moderators at yotatech how many accounts I've had! i have never misrepresented my identity, or created multiple accounts there. even when they changed my screenname for me i never pretended to be someone different.

And you think that someone who is halfway across the country will let you do this...and handle the orders (aka $$$$) too??!! I am not even sure that i would trust my best of best friends...hell, i am not even sure i would trust my own blood!

If AK would let you do this, then he must have COMPLETE trust in you. And this means........you're likely in the act too.

If i was NE, then i would never let this operation leave my hands. This is not IBM or Apple...this is a small backyard company....

Up until New Years, Anthony and I were the only ones in NE (as far as I know).

I was the one that handled orders, the website, customer service, and transferring the money we made to Anthony's personal bank account via PayPal. There are records for all of this.

For a very long time, Anthony and I were actually very good friends. We did trust each other, and did respect each other, and tried to encourage each other on how to be better in business and in life. Whatever went sour was only a recent development, or things being brought to my attention that made me aware of certain lies.

We were business partners and friends.

Is it really that hard to imagine people in a business actually having a personal friendship and working together?

Your issue here seems to be to prove that I am an idiot, and has nothing to do with the issues at hand. I have readily admitted that I was foolish to believe certain things that I was told.

You keep saying that I'm "in the act" ... what act would that be? The only kit I ever saw was the one I paid full-price for which came to me and was very disappointing. That was the first point in time that I realized why people had complained about the quality.

You haven't even explained your arguments. Being friends with someone does not make you immune to dishonesty from the other party. Everyone knows that.

What is it exactly that you think I knew here? And what is it, exactly that you think I should have done? Because as I see it, every time something came to my attention I confronted him about it and was told it would be fixed. Every time I was misled about the status of a kit, I confronted him about it and was given an excuse and promise of a new shipping date.

i am not savvy in business. had i been smart, i would've realized these things and taken people's advice early on, or maybe at least requested some sort of wage for all the work i did.

what is it exactly that you think i had to gain from continuing with NE? believe me, when i quit, it brought mutual relief, from Anthony and from me.

Before going to bed, you deserve an explanation. I never said that i thought that you were an idiot...i just thought THAT explanation is ridiculous...and thus, you are not telling the whole story.

What is the whole story??? i don't know. Only you and AK know. I am just being the devil's advocate. :satan: I just wanted to show people that there are possibly other explanations for every event. Take everything with a grain of salt, especially over the internet.

I could be completely wrong...and i hope that i am...i really do.

I assure you I have stated the extent of my involvement with NE as far as what my job was, and the lack of control I had over the quality of spacers and timeliness. I am not psychic, and sometimes all you have to go on is what your business partner tells you - there is no way to know the exact amount of truth in the statements they make, or the circumstances taht surround them - hence the importance of trust in a business or personal relationship.

I have already stated that I do feel guilty for being a part of all that by unknowingly misleading people by giving them the "personal guarantees" that Anthony asked me to, and I have made my amends with those few customers I felt especially bad for in regards to their experience.

I never said I was innocent, I merely stated that there was little more I could do to control the specific aspects of the business of which I had no daily part. I designed the site, did customer service, advertised, etc. Anthony did the designing and the shipping. We both did what we were good at.

To be honest, at the time, I could think of no more ideal way to begin a business than with a friend where the both of you had opposite but compatible talents.
