Got some 285's. 58.9lbs

Are they bigger then the BFG 285 or is that just the camera angle?

Anyone know how these compare in weight to the BFG's? I know the BFG's only come in E in 285, so curious is there is any "real" rolling weight advantage with these in C rated 285.

I read a post about the C VS. E weight but that was comparing the Ridgegrappler to the Ridgegrappler...

Curious about the 285 E BFG weight vs. the 285 Ridge C or E.

Those weight specs are hard to find.

They definitely looks bigger and I believe KO runs smaller then most.
These are E Load, never weighed my KO but they're rated about the same weight. Try emailing them.

I know the KO2s are considered the majority favorite tire choice for a lot of 'overland' type builds...but I'm seriously being swayed towards these Ridge Grapplers once we go to 285/70/17s like most do!!!

I'm loving my 265/70 but I kinda wish that I went 285 from the start. I'll swap them out eventually.

I have the numbers written down somewhere but I think the 285 Nitto Ridge are .6" larger in circumference compared to the KOs. Nittos tend to run larger in 285,33" and 35"

I think it's a few pages back when the weight topic was brought up, someone posted that there was only a few lbs diff between C and E, not as much as one would expect.

Got my Toytech ultimate lift, new UCA and Nitto ridge grapplers 285 70 on stock rims collecting dust. Need more O.T. Also im modifying that rotopax can mount to fit onto bajarack ladder looks a easy mod to do.

Help need new rims

can anyone recommend a set of rims for my ridge grapplers, my first time ever buying rims. Or do I use stock rims with my spydertrax spacers. Called several shops big waste of time on operators. Got 285 70 17C rated. Need by next week. Do they need to be hub centric? Can only find 4.75 back space and -6 off set. Is this enough. what bolt pattern? Looked at procomp for this data. Can't sleep over this issue.

FN Wheels and SCS Wheels seems to be popular on here. They should fit your criteria.

I run a 285/75/17 km2; but will likely switch to the RG soon in that size. Fits fine on my application.

So went with FN's six shooter. Getting lift today and wheels put on. Wont know till tommorow what she looks like. Toyota Accessories PTR18-35092 TRD Center Cap is the size for the FN wheels. 11 bucks each on amazon. Caps not shown in photo. Per FN price going up next year on Six shooters.
