Thanks guys, I ordered some from Amazon that was already black. Starting the Satoshi this weekend. What primer did you use? I ordered some with a Natural White color match but I don't know if it'll work well with plastic.

The stuff I bought was black too, I just painted it to match the grille. I ended up not using primer the second time I painted it (the first time, it didn't hold up at all), just Rustoleum flat black industrial enamel, which has been holding up great.
What did you use to paint them? I'm debating whether to spend the extra $35 for powdercoat or just order them bare steel and paint myself

For an extra $35 I'd spring for the powdercoat. If it was $100 extra I'd paint them myself. Either way they're meant to be scraped across rocks, no paint or powdercoat can withstand that! The advantage of powdercoat is that it gives a nice protected surface to paint over and withstand surface rust better.

Been slow to update this because of all the other stuff going on, but enough with the excuses!
Addicted Off Road Bumper installed:
Shortly after, I wanted a little more clearance in between the bumper and the body so I installed a 1/2" body lift.
Also, since there is no place to put fog lights after installing this bumper, [MENTION=77033]J053619[/MENTION] made me some custom brackets to allow me to mount them over the bumper cross member bolts. I like how it came out and I'm happy to have some fog lights back!
I also was able to upgrade my audio system a bit with a new headunit for Christmas! I got the Pioneer AVIC-5000NEX. So far I love it. The nav is smooth and the bluetooth audio is nice. When I have time I'm going to set it up for Apple Carplay with my iPhone.

Added some windshield lights using the CBI brackets a few months back but forgot to post. Anyway, here's how she sits now!

Recently installed a 20" light bar on my front bumper. I used a switch from OTTRATW that also lights up in blue like the Windshield Lights switch.
Also decided to step up to 285s now that I have the bumper. I went with the Kanati Trailhogs, which are a near-copy of the Duratracs previously ran.
Although these tires have only been on the market for less than two years, the company that makes them, Greenball, has been around longer making tires for ATVs and had a started with the Mud Hogs first; which have been receiving good reviews so far. I went with the TrailHogs or a couple reasons:
Price: they cost significantly less than the Duratracs of the same size (285/70/17). I saved roughly $400 ordering them online and having them installed locally over buying the Duratracs in the same size.
Strength: These tires are almost a blatant copy of the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs (which I ran for over 3 years and 50,000 miles and loved them) except they have a stronger sidewall (3 ply vs the 2 ply Duratracs) which have been the only real criticism about the Duratracs thus far. These are also snowflake rated as well. The only compromise here is it doesn't carry the Goodyear name.
My first impressions with them are that they are quieter than the Duratracs so far (this is not saying much. The Duratracs had 50,000 miles on them and these will get louder with age just as the Duratracs did). They also ride incredibly smooth for a Load E tire. I'm very happy with my purchase so far and looking forward to taking them off road and through the snow. I had zero rubbing issues as well (thanks to the bumper).

Yeah so far I've been there with guys that know the area pretty well, and even then we found ourselves in a couple crazy situations. It's far from me and there's other places I'd rather go that are less messy lol

Your build looks good! Pretty similar to mine. I just installed the bumper from AOR tonight. I was wondering, have you gotten harassed at all about the license plate facing down like that? I am required to have a front one also, and it is a very convenient spot to put it since its out of the way.

Not yet! I actually had it in the dash for the first 6 months and finally got a ticket from a cop who was looking for that sort of thing. He also gave me a ticket for my window tint (first and only ticket in 3 years). It's been 7 or 8 months since then and so far no issues. I looked up the law and I *should* be okay. I believe it requires the license plate be fastened to the front bumper of the vehicle no more than 48" from the ground. Hopefully no issues though since there's not really another option!

Light Racing Upper Control Arms installed. Alignment is now perfect and drives like a new truck!
Hey, how are your Light racing UCA holding up? I wanted to see how they are compared to OEM before I purchase and install new UCAs.
