No air out of 2 ducts.

I hope this is not really a big issue, but today I noticed the 2 center air ducts (2 above the radio) are not blowing any air. I turned off the radio and got my roommate to shut up after I noticed it. I heard what sounded like a dieing electrical motor or a plastic gear rubbing on something behind the dash. The 2 side ducts are blowing fine and still keep the truck comfy, but I would like to know why these 2 are not working and what to look for.

You have a bad mode door actuator.

Yep, probably a stripped nylon gear. I don't have the Auto CC, but sometimes you can flip the nylon gear 180° and run on the previously unused and unstripped part.

Part numbers are these:

87106A SERVO SUB-ASSY, DAMPER
87106-35060 NO.1 1 $246.36
87106-35070 NO.2 1 $183.17
87106-35080 1 $167.44

You should confirm on Toyota Partszone or other site that takes your VIN. I am not responsible if these don't match your truck although I think they are right.

You might want to check out Toyotapartszone.com Reviews - toyotapartszone.com Ratings at ResellerRatings before going near these people-and $183 is more than my DEALER wanted to charge. That can be found for $127 & $129 from a 2 minute Google search. That company sounds like CRAP!

Read the post. I was giving him PART NUMBERS. The prices are fully loaded dealer MSRP. You sure ought to beat that.
