The brine is used up in Ohio as well. Nasty stuff, but at least it's better than the rock salt pelting the front of your car.

Never heard of this, thanks for bumping the thread and I'm going to give this a shot. I'm a wash weekly type of guy and always prided myself on my vehicle care so new products interest me.

I've used and enjoyed Zanio for years but I know it's old school and product development has come a ways....

I was actually going to get a foaming attachment and do it that way...is seems even simpler and honestly, I don't he time I used to and detailing my vehicles has been lacking more and more. Add in a aluminum boat and RV...and my time is stretched! I know you guys are saying it doesn't save much time but I spend 2-3 hours with my hose method and I can see this being just faster after mastering the technique!

I'll tell you, it's scary the first time using it. You just KNOW that using one rag will just scratch the crap out of the paint. But, somehow, if you use a clean fresh microfiber rag, a miracle occurs and there are no scratches. You gotta trust me on that.

I've been using this stuff 1-2 times a month ever since I read this post over a year ago. It takes less time then a normal handwash and without the waterspots at the end. The wax in the formula also adds to the life of a normal wax treatment, which I now only feel the need to do a couple times a year. Now that I have the system down I can easily do the entire car and wheels in less than an hour, and it looks pretty darn professional.

The one thing I will reiterate is if you have a lot of mud, salt or debris definitely rinse first to prevent paint scratching and it will allow you to use less rags.

Always work top down boys........and use a separate sponge or mitt for underneath and wheel wells. Never let that sponge or mitt touch your paint. Happy Frozen Fingers!!

I've posted it multiple times but this is the only product you need. As mentioned above, it's a good idea to hose off heavy dirt/mud, or salt after a messy storm but, other than that, use this stuff just like you would any other car wash solution. It's not just something to use for maintenance washing- you can use it full-time all the time. Use it on ALL exterior surfaces including your wheels (in my opinion) and you don't need anything else except some tire shine if you want an extra touch. I do mix some in a pre-soak spray bottle as also suggested above.

Additionally, I try to clay before and after winter followed by Optimum Spray wax (ONR can be used as a clay lube too). I will sometimes do a summer wax as well. That's it. Nearly 4 years later the vehicle still looks great.
