No Xreas

So it will appear I don't have an Xreas system on my 05 4R. I check all the shocks and there's no hydraulic line attached to them, or even a hydraulic fluid reservoir mounted to the outside of the frame. So i guess if I wanted to install the 2" lift spacers just in the front I wouldn't have to get the whole truck on jacks right? It should be pretty simple huh? just take tires out, compress springs?? simple task? I would still have to get an alignment afterwards?

the install would pretty much be the same xreas or not. Yes you still need the alignment done. If you're just doing the front you can jack just the front up.

2" lift up front with nothing in the rear might look a little nose-high... 1" - 1.5" is really all you need to level the stance... depending on what you consider to be level.

This is a top-out spacer, right? If so, peace of cake! I don't remember exactly how much space I was able to get by loosening the lower control arm bolts, but after you remove the three nuts on top (DO NOT REMOVE the nut in the center), you should be able to lower the whole assembly and pull the top of the assembly from the upper mounting point. You'll have to press out those top studs and replace them with longer ones from the kit... easy to do with a bench vise and socket. I think that some kits use screw-on extensions so you wouldn't have to press those out. You might need to compress the coils to get the assembly with spacer back in. You will definitely need to get an alignment when you are done.

Good luck!
