Non-winch front bumper

I like the Southern Style and the C4F low pro bumpers but don't intend to put a winch on my rig. Does anyone make one similar that without a winch plate. It would offer a lighter package while still providing the protection that I feel is is lacking on my Runner.

I'm sure both bumpers are available without the winch cutout. Best to contact each company.

I think he wants one without the winch mounting plate, I don't think anyone offers that but you could ask. It was a a pretty integral part so my guess is you would loose some strength (not a big deal) but also its going to be custom and costs more, I don't think the plate was that big and wouldn't save you much weight (maybe 20lbs tops?).....like RiDE said, just ask for no cut out and don't worry about the extra weight

Just run the bumper and don't put the winch on. They all can be installed like that. It saves about 80lbs on the nose and is actually a very common configuration.

The plate itself is needed because it becomes the new bumper structure that everything is built off of. The big downside of an aftermarket bumper is you loose the crush cans and move to a ridged setup. The ARB bumper does include a crush section in their design, but that is the only bumper that I know of that would retain factory impact behavior and even that would most likely be untested on your particular vehicle.
