Just found out I have this weekend off, I might try to take advantage of it and put some more miles on my front diff to break in the gears.

Probably do something somewhat close to me that is relatively light, still can't wheel too hard until that front end is broken in.

Thinking something in Stanislaus NF, probably head out as soon as I regain consciousness on Saturday. Maybe do some night wheeling and find somewhere to crash out there for the night.

Looks like I"m moving to Sacramento in about a month, I'l be able to go on a lot trail trips now ^.^

I know Fordyce has been brought up a few time and just to give everyone an idea of what the trail is like, this video says plenty.

Monday, October 15, 2018, a day run into the Rubicon from Loon Lake. Go into little Sluice or Buck Island and come back out.

My main things are;
1) Week day to minimize traffic & congestion (especially since we'd most likely all be IFS rigs).
2) Having a capable rig / parts / tools for what may be thrown at us on the trail.
3) Keeping the list to 5-6 vehicles max.

Some may think I am coming off like an ass (but I am used to that), the reasoning for the criteria is to make sure everyone had a good time, keep up a good pace and not spending time dealing with issues because someone thought their WRX was a good choice.

Any thoughts?

I would say it would be best to meet at the Loon Lake trail at at 7:30 am to air down and then head out. Yes it makes for an early morning, but hopefully we can get back at a decent hour.

I might depending on my surgery. Broken collar bone make's it hard to do anything.

Stick a screw through it and it will be good as new. Had that done once. Good luck.

Have a Dr appt Monday, and still haven't fixed the seal leak from your last run.
Just going to do a complete replacement on both sides, bearings, seals, ect. since I have to open her up.
