Will see what I can do to make it, and after the recent Uwharrie carnage....

, not super crazy about hitting the rocks again just yet. Also took out my exhaust, crushed both tips and broke the pipe in half at the cat conv. Gonna temp repair it till I can replace the entire thing from cat back.

Will try an make it a half hour down the road if you are talkin where I think you are by the end of 70 bypass.

Im glad to finally see something around NC. I live in hky and id love to ride up and meet everyone but i have to work, happy wheeling guys and be sure to post pics so i can at least drool when i get off work.

It is great that we have many participants! Please remember that this is a meet and greet with a lot of Show and tell going on. There will be no hard core off roading, so please don't drive 2 hours expecting a Danials trail or something.

I will have an M4, USP's, UMP and Fifty with some cans to play with and for all to try. So it will be blast.


Bring the kids, ex-wife, future ex-girlfriends, ear muffs and picnic food if you like.

I am exit 326 off the 70 bypass 20 minutes east of Raleigh. Come one come all.

I figure that we all meet around 2:00. This will give everyone time to go to church, have lunch and get their honey do list stuff done.

I figure that it would last about 2 to 4 hours depending if we get bored of one another.

Doc mentioned something about a big BBQ grill. But nothing set in stone. I will have drinks and H20 for everybody though.


I know that I have some TTora members coming too.

Like I said, Come one come all. Feel free to bring what ever you got.

still not in stone but im, closer to being able to say yes to this trip lol. I haven't any plans for sunday but I'm waiting for a passenger side front diff support arm to come in from toyota. It should be here by friday if they dont screw anything up. If its in I'm there.

I've got a mini skeet laucher and a case or two of skeet discs. I'll bring my 12 gauge, and maybe a semi auto 20 gauge. if i'm lucky i can sneak the 30 ought 6 out there .

Well, the problem with getting a grill is that I have no hitch because of the leaf conversion. I covered the hitch mounting holes with the rear leaf hangers. There's no way that I can mount any kind of hitch. I could try to figure out if I can do something straight to the frame, like a straight bar across the back for right now, but first I'd want to know how many people would actually be interested in doing a grill type thing, and if people would bring food they want grilled, or if they just want to do dogs and burgers and everyone chip in.

Personally, I think if we're going to be out there for only a few hours, the grill isn't worth the $20 a day it would be to rent it. Maybe we can plan something for a little further out, where we get more people together, more definate yes or no's, (and I can make my bumper), we could do the grill thing. Hell, we could get a pig, and cook that SOB. Just need a little more time to get definate answers.


On a happier note, got the Runner back together. Clocking ring installed, new gears installed. Had to ream the holes in the transmission side out to 11/32, but shes in there tight, and isn't leaking our anything. Now, I just need to fab up the 4WD shifter. Oh well, that's what base is for. :biggrin2:

I should be picking up my F250 tank today, so hopefully I could get it at least mounted some time this week. We'll see. I'm beat and hurting from this weekend...
