No hope for the starter. I'll get pics up tomorrow. It was insane. Pulled the top off, and EVERYTHING in there was charred. Like, melted, charred black stuff. Gonna get one from a local yard and put it in until next week when I get paid.

I know I CAN NOT get on PhotoBucket on my gov't computer. It tells me the site is blocked, and anyone that loads pictures to the forum with photobucket come up as little red "x". Facebook does the same thing with pictures.

I know I CAN get on ImageShack, seeing as how I show people pics of the runner every day at work.

And she sure as hell did. Just need to do a couple more things to her before I even ATTEMPT anything that deep again. I.E front shaft, snorkel, and waterproffing EVERYTHING in the cab.....

Here's my starter. Who ever designed the placement of this damn thing should be shot. I'm pretty sure a blind monkey couldve come up with a better place to mount the damn thing other than behing the freaking exhaust.......

I've also got the dreaded pink milkshake. GGGGGRRRRRREEEEEAAAAATTTTTT. I'm about to go and get some brake fluid(Yes, it works as a temporary fix), and flush the **** out of the system. Then, next week when I get paid, I'll do a proper tranny flush. Hopefully driving back to base didn't screw my transmission too bad.......

Man... Definately sucks!! Hate that you are havin to do so much surgery on it after a little meet & greet. How did the starter get that fried, bendix hang in the flywheel?

Think Mud got in the starter. She would start automatically. Got back, shut her off, went to put my cammies in the washer, came into my room, showered, and when I waked out side 30 min later to switch my clothes, and the truck was smoking. Starterwas just going "click, click, click" and burning up. Burned the piss out of myself trying to get the terminal off.

I've learned my lesson, NO MORE DEEP WATER!!!!!!
