Hey all, had to put my rotti down due to bone cancer. She loved the 4runner back window, just having a rough day.

^^ that's awesome! They brothers/sisters?

Dog's are the shiit.

They are man's best friend without a doubt. Whenever I get home from college my Yellow Lab literally goes bananas.

I bet you'd give anything to have him back.

You planning on getting another? Its hard to live without a dog - even for a couple of days after having one.

Sorry dude.

Awe that sucks :moping:

My yellow lab Ruger loves that back window too. You should get another little buddy soon. Hope you feel better

I always tell myself I'm never going to get another dog when one dies. It sucks losing them. :( They become part of the family and have their own personalities. My dog farts and snores like a fat man(he's snoring right now) lol. He actually has a smile you can see. Everyday when I come home he's waiting for me, upside down with his tail wagging as fast as possible, waiting for his belly rub. :)

Think of all the good times. Don't dwell on the bad ones. :sadwave:

Rotts are amazing to say the least. I lost mine a few years ago and it still hurts. Three of my customers just lost their furry children in the last few months and it really sucks because we/I got to see them everyday so they became part of my extended family. (I own a doggie day care and boarding facility)

Hold your head up high, I bet your dog had a great life!

thanks for all of my brothers sympathy. Been drinking all day so i apologize for any misspelled words. My Baby has been thee thru my divorce, selling my Harley, hang overs and then some. I am a Chicago Cop, and for the last 16 years I have been hardened, but loosing my girl was the hardest thing in recent memory. Thanks agaon for your kind words, you are truelly Americas finest people.

Lost my 11 year old pit about 2 months ago. Sooooo hard] its unbelieveable. Miss her so much. my heart goes out to you. Its like losing a family member :(

Hey man sorry for your loss! I had to put down my 11 year old yellow Lab on 5/25 and it was the hardest day of my life. I think about her everyday and she loved riding in the back of my 4Runner with the window down. We don't realize how much they are apart of our family until they are gone. It will get better in time trust me!!

Hey man sorry about your loss. I had to put my Chocolate Lab asleep 2 years ago, I still miss having her waiting at the door at my parents house when I go visit. But we had many years of fun, wheeling, camping, hiking. Just remember the good times!

Losing a dog can bring down the toughest of us. My current dog has been with me, also through divorce ,and accompanies me on field assignments and in all my travels. She's getting up in age herself and the thought she could be gone soon struck me the other night. Quite sobering...

Hang in there, my friend.

I feel your pain...I've lost two Rotti's a while ago so I know how attached you can get. The best remedy is to find another dog.

sportv8: Sorry to hear of your loss... it is extremely tough to lose such a faithful companion. Just know that she lived a good life and appreciated all you did for her. Stories like this really make me realize how much I love my fur-kids! I hope that your sorrow will be replaced by the pitter-patter of puppy paws someday soon!
