O2 sensor part number check

Hi,

Wonder whether Toyota 89465 - 04030 works with a Denso 234 - 9002?
This is potentially for my 97 5vzfe.

Both have 4 wires and identical but denso site shows the 234-9002 is upstream for 00-02 trucks.

The 234-9002 is an Air/Fuel ratio sensor and sure as sh!t won't work on a '97.

I found a seller in Cl (Austin TX ) trying to sell Brand New Denso 234-9002 + MANN fuel filter and used owners workshop manual for $50.

The reason why I want to do the sensor is the Gas Mileage is getting bad to worst. The only thing that I have to replace is the Fuel pressure regulator. All other parts are repalced with OEM or Denso.

Now, the 5vzfe and 2uzfe (my cruiser) are both doing same gas mileage both city and highway! This tells me something is not right in the 5vzfe.
