O2 sensor question

Happy Monday All.
Looking at replacing my O2 sensors - 133xxx on clock and Toyota replaced one under warranty due to a P0031 code.

It says that they replaced the Bank 1 Sensor 1 Air/Fuel ratio sensor.
I am trying to figure out which one they replaced... drivers/passengers ?
I have the other two and was thinking of trying myself due to the 3hrs rate local shop wants for one side - says its very hard to get to.

Any help /suggestions would be appreciated!

If it is a pain for the dealer to replace, it will be a double pain for you unless you know how to do it. Besides getting to it, they can be frozen and almost impossible to take out. They often need a special tool due to the pigtail wires that come out of them. Then you must use high temp anti-seize on the new one, otherwise it will be impossible to remove in the future.

I haven't changed one on my 4Runner yet, but I have done 3 on my Tundra. They should be easy to locate. Yes, they may be rather hard to get loose - but my Tundra O2 sensors were in there for close to 20 years. You do need a socket with a U cut out of the side to accommodate the wire. Just look for an O2 sensor socket. It's best to get a replacement that already has the connector on the end. You can buy universal ones that you have to splice in. Bosh made the ones I have used with good results.

So, bank 1 is passenger side. Bank 2 is drivers side.

Makes sense.. cylinder 1 is passenger side front, cylinder 2 is driver side front.
