Get some MAF cleaner from your local auto parts store. It is really easy...just don't directly touch the wires. They are protected by a plastic housing so it isn't too big a deal...just be aware of it.QUOTE]
Thanks. I would assume that you disconnect the MAF sensor and remove it from the throttle body before cleaning? Also, what is the best method for cleaning, Q-tips? What should I be avoiding and what should I be cleaning on the sensor? Sorry for the bombardment of questions, but I have yet to mess around with a MAF yet.
Shuly just told you how to clean it! You even quoted it! I swear no one ever fully reads what people post, not just on here but on forums across the net.
Just leave the MAF where its at and do as shuly says.
