OEM NAVs that work w/ 4R4

bluetooth has me stumped.

Ok, the bluetooth buttons are not lighting up. When I press (any) of the buttons, I expect the head unit to display SOMETHING, but I get nothing. Because I have a 2005 model, I'm thinking there are connectors/wiring that are not present. I've searched and pretty much found nothing. I gather that if you have a 2006+ 4Runner, you are good to go. If not, you are not.

Can anyone point me in the right direction??? :sadwave:

My theory of pre '06 Runners not having the circuity or wiring for the BT is hogwash. Anyway, just to keep this post updated with pertinent information.

Not done YET: rear camera/voiceNav/Mic.
