Oh man I want to attend this so badly! Ouray is on my 4x4 bucket list! Do a lot of t4r's make it? I'll be about stock except for maybe my daystar lev. kit.

Last year there were several 4runners. Myself included.
Many of the trails are suitable for a stock vehicle. Last year we had a stock white limited 4th gen run with us for a full day. To be honest, a lot of the trails can be run with a 2wd and dozens of 2wd FJs show up every year.

So if you can make it, do. It's not extreme off roading, it is long scenic trail rided with a million photo ops.

Do you guys go over Black Bear pass? It is one trail I specifically want to do. I have to check my work schedule cause I have a feeling we might have an outage at work but if I dont I have already began talking to some friends about possibly making the trip.

Great to spot this thread and thanks for starting it!
A group of us Sea level dwellers are trying to get a group road trip to Colorado this year to do some serious offroading besides sea marshes, pine barrens and a little known place called Rausch Creek! The idea is there, the want is there, we just gotta get all our ducks in a row- as a canadian once told me.

We are NE4ROA NorthEast 4Runner Owners Association- all met on here and started an FB page to do meet ups n stuff. From Maine to South Carolina, we have members all over the place! I followed the info on this meet from FJCruiserforums then to FJsummit and now found this here.

We originally were going to Denver, CO the beginning of May BUT.............

Something for my 2014 list, I hope you folks have a blast!... I took in the Imogene trail last summer from Telluride to Ouray, it was incredible. Great history too. Post some pics!!

Black bear is is not hard just some tight turns. We run it every year, except when they close it due to mud slides. Two years ago a blazer took the fall off of her.

Where in the world is Rochus?

He was at Summit7 and I would like to get a hold of him.
He was driving a modified silver 4th Gen 4Runner from Minnesota.
