I used my balljoint tool to press the new adapter in. But used my air hammer to get the old one out.
Did in literally 5sec. Haha. Just remember there is a c-clip to remove before you start to try and press the old one out. It's covered by the balljoint boot.

Yeah, I read up on it in the FSM a while back and then just refreshed my memory of it by reading it this morning. I could imagine somebody struggling with the removal of the upper balljoint and then realize after some frustration that there was a c-clip hiding under the boot. This is why spending money on the FSM was a great investment. I know there's an online version but it's nowhere near as nice as having the book in your hands.

I wouldn't want to contribute to the delinquency of a minor, but if you end sneaking a beer in, I doubt anyone will call the Poelease on you. The main thing is nobody gets behind the wheel still intoxicated.

Just bring whatever you want to share. I'm taking care of the main dish. I'll have chicken, skirt steak, burgers and sausages.

Not to be an ass or anything but [MENTION=146244]phokingchink[/MENTION] needs to bring his knee pads. That's a lot of work to be done for free. [emoji23]
My UCAs took me by myself 1 hour and I was taking my sweet time.
Took me 5 hours with a trip to local big o to use there wall mount spring compressor and a lunch break to do [MENTION=94292]Patriot12[/MENTION] lift. Body lifts are a pain but I have done quite a few. They take just as long as a suspension lift if not a bit longer.
Paul aka patriot12 should be there but my son will be a week old on that day so idk how the wife would feel about me being gone all day but if I do show up it will be a surprise.

I'm an ass man so no offense taken. :moon: I definitely am not looking for free work and I am more than willing to get down and dirty as I also want to learn how to do all this as well. I definitely don't expect everything to be finished on the same day either. Can't wait to meet everyone and rock out with my socks out! :jump:

I wish I was able to attend on Sunday. I am already committed to going to Thunderhill for the 25 hour race on that day. Hopefully this inspires another of these kind of meet ups. If so I hope to attend in the future.

Dudes that are attending, here's the sort of the itinerary of the day:

9am-12pm - Tundra Brake Upgrade for [MENTION=98597]Jayjayb96[/MENTION]

12pm-1pm - Lunch

1pm-4pm - Upper Control Arm and Front Spring Replacement for [MENTION=94292]Patriot12[/MENTION]

**Note: These are all loose times. If we finish the TBU sooner, which I think we will, we'll get started on the UCA for Patriot12 earlier.

Sean and I want to video the TBU and UCA/Spring Replacement and those jobs will be our priority along with drinking beers.

Depending on who shows up and their willingness to help, maybe [MENTION=146244]phokingchink[/MENTION] gets his suspension lift installed. I have all the necessary tools and Sean and I will be available for technical assistance but PhoKing and others will have to do the wrenching. if it ends up not happening, don't you worry PhoKing, I'm willing to help you out another day and I definitely want to help you with the body lift because we can make another DIY video.

Looking forward to meeting everyone Sunday.
