Not sure if I'll be ready this month, need to do the valve covers and get the rest of my lift parts. Definitely next month.
[MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION] went to the 01 and got me the intake plenums and bolts and I just picked up a 00 front bumper at the Moss Landing one. It's dented in one part, but $55, so I can't complain. I can finally put my rig all back together once I get a bracket and valve cover replacement parts.

Btw, I was with Sean that day when we raped the 4runner at the San Jose Pick and Pull of parts. We grabbed those plenums, the CV axles, radiator fan and the front right fender. It was fun violating that 4runner. We went back today and got the LCAs and steering knuckles. The weather cooperated for the most part and we didn't get too wet. We videoed our Pick and Pull experience and will post it on our YouTube channel once Sean has the time to edit it. Should be entertaining.

It's for a fellow member from Colorado who is down here in the bay on vacation.
I just checked it out and his LCA bushings are shot and making tons of noise and crazy movement.

Have you found any takers yet? If I were to help with this, I'd prefer to do it at my place instead of driving to Napa. Would you be willing to make the drive to San Hoser? I was thinking it would be cool to try out my Harbor Freight press. If you and I tag team this, each of us tearing apart one side at the same time, we could knock it out pretty quick. The only concern I would have is since he's coming from Colorado, I'd expect those cam adjusters could be rusted in there. Do you have a sawzall in case we have to cut them out? I don't own one, yet.
What bushings does this member plan on using as replacements, OEM or Whiteline? Whatever the case, he should also order new cam adjusters in case we have to destroy the old ones getting them out.

No takers yet but since I was planning on being in San Jose for the new year this would work out awesome
He got whiteline bushings and I had him spraying penetrating lube on the LCA bolts since Tuesday.
I do have a sawzall I could take.

Ok, let's do it on Saturday morning at my place. Definitely bring the sawzall. Hopefully they come out without much of a fight. There's a dealership close to my house and they'll probably have some cam adjusters in stock. At least I hope they will if we end up needing some. If one is fighting us to the point we are thinking of cutting, we should call my local dealer first before committing to cutting it out.
How about meeting around 9:30-10am? I'll have all the tools we'll need but be my guest to bring your own cache of tools too.
This would be the time to replace steering rack bushings if he was thinking about it because we need to release the steering rack so we can get those rear cam bolts out.
I copied you Mark. I liked the Harbor Freight tool box you had at your place so I went out and bought myself one. I had more tools than I had room for.

Harbor freight has some good finds sometimes.
And yeah his rack bushings are shot so I told him to get those also.
Just O'riellys dorman is what I went with (since the energy suspension bushings i ordered thinking they'd be better turned out to be super disappointing quality.) they are black polyurethane same as OE but less expensive.

I haven't taken pictures yet but tires are in good shape I'll post them up tomorrow.
$200 each.
I can dismount and mount tires onto different wheels if you are interested in that too.

Got a 99, 3.4 with 186k miles a couple of years ago. Been reading the different threads on this forum and your guy's info has helped me a great deal. Now wondering if I can tag along and try to get some work done on suspension etc as the original owner didn't do much to the rig before I purchased.
