Official Bay Area MOD/MEET/GREET Thread

Bay Area folks, does anyone have recommendations for shock rebuilds or nitro fills? My Foxies are do for a rebuild. I know Forged Offroad does but they're in Loomis. I'm hoping to find something closer.

I have no problem doing it myself but I don't have a nitro fill set-up. I rebuild shocks/forks for bikes annually and can't imagine it being much different, just larger scale.

Do it yourself than take them to a 4wheel Parts and get them filled.
That’s what I would do.
It’s super easy
Forks are actually harder haha

Talk to Kurt Duncan at Kurt's Auto on Blossom Hill in San Jose. Does a lot of custom projects both big and small, is a true craftsman, and straight-up honest.

David I can't thank you enough for the Kurt's Auto Electric & Repair connection. Kurt's a super great guy and definitely hooked me up with the modification I needed. Yup we went with lifting the bumper in the end. I too strongly recommend anyone locally that needs basic to custom work done to give Kurt's Auto a call their reviews are also solid with great comments on Yelp 'phone number if that's cool (408) 629-9884.' And agreed...definitely an honest dude.

Looks so good!! When you have a chance could you please post pics of the fab work done to close the BL gap? As far as I know I haven't seen anyone do this on the Addicted bumper.

Toyota Time Party at Timmy the Toolman's



Hey Dudes,

Sean (aka [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION]) and I have decided it's time for another get-together for some BBQ, Beers, and showing off our Sick Mods. If you live in the California Bay Area or you're willing to make the trek to our neck of the woods, you're welcome to join in on the fun.

This is going to be a Pot Luck / BYOB. Sean and I will be providing the main smorgasbord of meats and heart attack cheesy garlic bread.

What should you bring?
Bring some type of side dish, salad, dessert or snack and of course your favorite beverage. In order to create a good variety of foods to share with each other, I created a Google Doc for you to sign up and specify what you plan on bringing to share. When you sign up, look through the list of things people plan on bringing and try not to choose something that's already being provided by a couple other people. Basically the goal is to not have 50 guys all bringing a bag of chips as their contribution.

Will there be wrenching going on?
That's up to you. You will need to take the lead on what you want to do or have somebody there that will take the lead. Sean and I will be busy with all the food and other things and can't get tied up with a repair or mod. However, we will help out where we can and there will be plenty of knowledgeable people in attendance to help out as well. People are welcome to use my tools. Just make sure they make it back into my garage after you're done.

Attendance Limit
We decided we'd limit the attendance to the first 50 people who sign up. If you're one of our usual attendees/friends, make sure you sign up early. At some point, we plan on putting this out to members of the Facebook page 3rd Gen Mafia, members of Tacoma World and an open invitation to our YouTube channel subscribers.

Party Address
After you sign up on the Google Doc, send me a PM letting me know you plan on attending the party and I'll send you my address.
