Don't forget to seal the top of your vanity. If it's anything like the marble ones I have, they come unsealed. I assume you will, but also put sealer on your shower floor. I didn't know you heated the floor too! I'm not sure how I lived so long without having heated floors. Looks good!

I'm looking for one just like that (double sinks, and drawers!) for my bathroom redo..

Thanks man. Ya. Took a lot of grout and patience. Looks great in the end though.
I got the vanity on Overstock.com. I just had to mount the sinks to the top and set the top.
This looks like it had more draws than it does. The top on each side is a shelf.

And the lower on each side has cutouts for the plumbing in them

Still adequate considering all my 3 things I use will fit on the shelf and the missus can have the rest hahaha.

Thanks man. The vanity top came sealed and ya I'm sealing the shower floor.
The heatmat is pretty sweet. $500 for the mat and programmable thermostat. Not bad. Doing the same tile and heatmat in this closet next.
The heatmat just requires its own dedicated 110 line at the panel.

Then the whole space should tie together pretty well.

Added some finishing touches. Just door casings and 1/4 round left. Then glass.

BTW - some great workmanship & planning, in this thread:

Here is my recent renovation, in our 1963 Brick Bungalow / original plaster walls restored:
- structural LVL's in basement & moved living room center wall back (2 feet)
- double crown molding, on ceiling
- baseboard is Craftsman angled profile, on 1x6 maple
- all new sub floors, PL glued & screwed down / 3/4" ply under porcelain tile and 3/8" plywood under plank floor...leaves transition, perfectly flat
- 6" wide plank Hickory T&G flooring (3/4" thick, unfinished from sawmill)...41% denser than oak
- TV mantle houses some family antiques / white oak planks, are +60 y/o and ends cut to length with my fathers old 1968 Pioneer Holiday chainsaw
- door jams, are a mix of cherry / white maple / cedar / black walnut

Got the master closet floor done this week. Just have to hang some new lights the boss likes and recover the cushions on the bench and paint it black. Need to install the thermostat for the heated floor too.

Just re did the living room roght before the holidays...

Floor to ceiling, only thing that stayed was the fireplace structure itself but I fully re pardged interior of chimney box with new fire cement (chamber coat)

Hidden cabinets on each side so all electronics are tucked away out of sight..
Right side has modem, router, surge protector/battery back up box, etc..
Left side is dvd storage




Ran all new wiring in wall for current and future hook ups...all 4K 3D hdmi cables

Re did the existing French doors leading into the room...stripped, painted, and waxed...
New casing, trim, hardware..






Did the same process with the mantle, and the custom built shelves

Ripped up existing carpet
sanded with 36, 60, 120, 220
Stained with minwax red mahagony
3 coats of clear poly

Walnut live edge slab on a metal base from scrap yard steel, c-channel, warehouse racking perhaps not certain.

Wall console/shelving/barn door hiding a murphy bed..

Mixed species panel top on 2" square x base..

Funny, I was going to ask if everyone in this thread got lazy because we haven't had a post in a while. I've been re-siding my house since the weather has gotten warmer. No need for photos of that exiting job.

Haha I was thinking the same thing ...I've been busy with work but have started to take apart 2 more rooms ...pics to come in next week or so..
Someone should start an outside yard work project thread now that its warming up a bit..
