How did you reweld the frame nut inside the frame for the skid plates.
Russ didn't. He welded new weldnuts on the bottom of the frame for some of them. For the front crossmember (under the radiator), he fabricated a reinforcement for the crossmember, drilled through and welded nuts on top of the reinforcement he made.
So this would make the skid plates where the nut is welded stick out a little more I guess.
I drilled through end-to-end and put a long bolt right through with a nut and washer on the passenger side. If I come to grips at the idea of welding on the frame I guess I'll need to do that on the driver side since there isn't much space between the cross member and drive shaft.
