Hello everyone. First of all, thank you to everyone for all of the priceless knowledge I've learnt from this forum. I've decided that it's about time I finally join! I'm not very tech savvy so I hope I'm doing this posting thing right!
My question is: I've got a 1988 first generation 4runner with a 2.4 liter (2L) non turbo and an IFS front end. I'm looking to do a 5L turbo conversion and just wanted to know which is the best sump to use for this application? Should I/can I just use the sump off my current 2L or is there a bigger/better sump to use that will still fit around the IFS front end? Since the 2L non turbo sumps are quite small, I was hoping to find a larger capacity sump that will fit this application.
