OK to use kdss socket in fuse box? (non kdss t4r)

I wanted to use the fuse socket in cabin for power using a fuse jumper for some lighting but figured to ask just in case.

T4r does Not have kdss on it so there was no fuse prior.

Confirm the slot has power. It should but never hurts to check.

If there is a fuse size number by the slot, don't go above that for a fuse. The wiring may not handle higher current.
