Old School Graphics

I know it isn't a 5th gen but i had thought about some old school stripes lime my old SR5. Sorry for the small pic. I am on my phone

I like that a lot! That's a bit more subtle and has a modern edge to it. Any chance I can convince you to make some for my 5th Gen? :bigok: :bigok:

I haven't done them yet. I had just photochopped that pic when i was looking at a pic of my old ride.......damn i miss that truck!

Go momo.... love the black on black decals.

OP I'm not sure whether or not you're going to pull the trigger on this for your 4Runner, but if not you at least have to do the trailer... Looks awesome!

I would do the trailer, but instead of the multicolor stripes I'd go for all black stripes. I wouldn't do the truck in my opinion.

I was inspired by this truck while at the Summit:

Found some stuff like this:

Thoughts?
I like this sentence. In China,we have a sentence can express the same meaning."天将降大任于斯人也,必先苦其心志,劳其筋骨,饿其体肤,空乏其身"

This is what I would do, but I'm a sucker for understated and color schemes. I think it will look great with whatever you go with though!

(nice trailer btw)

I don't have the software to draw this but maybe you can visualize the idea.

The rear tail light and front marker light kind of create an imaginary line between them. How about a gradient pattern like the blu truck posted a few pages back that starts with small tight blocks at the front marker progressing to long rectangular blocks back at the tail light with each one getting progressively darker in color

. Then you could use the simple pattern on the rear of the trailer that someone posted above with simple black bars on the rear. Put your red TRD sticker on the trailer front and tie it together by running a red pin stripe above and below the truck gradient graphics that would fall in line with top and bottom of the rear light and front marker.

Here is a pathetic attempt at drawing it but maybe it gives you the idea I see in my head as there appears to be a natural flow between those lights.

Sorry, guys - I missed like the last 8 responses on this thread for some reason...

Thanks a ton for the input. I need to find someone that can cut the vinyl!

I like both ideas, Ive got retro stripes on my 2012 taco that sock monkey on TW made. Im sure he might be able to throw something together.

Sock Monkey is out of the biz....

A quick google search of custom vinyl decals turns up a dizzying array of vendors.
