OME BP-51 Suspension System -- Anyone yet?

Now the real question: are the struts a different part number than the FJ kit (I.e., different valving and/or C/O spring rates) or just different brackets?

That's what I really want to know. It'll be funny if all the delay and hem hawing turns out to be over nothing than a slightly modified bracket. I keep getting mixed stories about it just being a different fit kit to being a different driver side strut to being an actual valving change.

Here are my measurements, basically a full 3" lift in the rear and 2.5"
in the front (compared to my height post bumper and winch install), and a 2" rake.

(Measurements are rough and within a fat 1/8")

Thanks! But, whoa. How are you guys getting so much more lift than me? You're measuring to the bottom of the sheet metal flare and not to the liner right?

Right..bottom of flare to center hub. I'm running 899's on the rear and left the factory preload as is for future winch/armor up front.

Where it is right now gave me 2 1/4". That was how Slee set it up and I have been debating on whether I should see if they'll increase it or if it's worth it.

I like these, fox and kings. I ruled out kings so now it's Fox then the BP-51. So far Fox has been the only ones to respond to me that 3" is perfectly OK without having to preload the crap out of the coilovers to get there. I can't justify spending the cash if I get a shit ride getting to 3. I'm curious.

At some point I'll have a shrockworks bumper so I'm also curious what # coil is in the front? I believe the Foxs are 600 (standard).

For what it's worth, the default preload set by OME (about an inch of threads exposed) will sit at ~3" over stock height (hub to fender).

Be aware though, according to ARB, this preload setting is for ~230 lbs weight over factory (winch + full bar).

If you're running factory weight up front, dialing down preload (fewer threads exposed) and/or adjusting compression & rebound probably are a good idea if you don't want to feel like you just dropped ~$4k to make your truck ride like a board.

I ordered my BP-51 from Toytec today with SPC UCA! I am so excited, David at Toytec was great and I can recommend them if you are in search of any suspension set ups for the 4Runner.

I am also having RSG in Denver do the install and will let you know as soon as it completed.

On a side note, Jason at RSG was a pleasure to talk to and I can't wait for Tuesday

Oh, I posted these in my build thread, but I did have Slee adjust the height. I got another inch up front which restores my rake from my numbers before the bumper, winch, and lift; just up 3" higher.

Final numbers:
22 3/8" front
23 5/8" rear

Current preload with the witness marks from the previous setting.

These are probably the closest I have for before pictures

Cant wait to see the before and after pics with this setup. Im in the market of getting new suspension and came across this thread. I wasn't to happy with the reviews with the kings and icons and want to see how these are.
