OME BP-51 Suspension System -- Anyone yet?

Update....had the BP51's on now for a about 7500 miles. They are dialed in pretty good for daily driving comfort, but I will admit I hate the rake look and feel.
My ICONS were easy to adjust the front to level them out without removing the assembly and it rode good.
The BP51's you have to pull the strut and compress to pre-load the spring to adjust height. We are pulling them off this week and going to try to pre-load them level and see how the ride is. I will update with measurements and pictures if successful.
Noted: I have a an ARB front bumper and Warn Winch. V-8 and ARB compressor mounted under the hood. Other than that the weight shouldn't be a factor. I know ARB/OME always maintain the facotory rake, but it seems like a lot to me.

Reinstalled the BP51 front coils today. Maxed out the spring adjustment and still sits kinda nose down, but much better than it was. OME always sits a little lower in the front compared to ICON or some of the others. The ride quality is great and that is what really counts. Can't wait to get it off road and try it in the dirt.
What springs are you running in the rear??

I am running heavy rear, but the ride isn't too harsh. They are the same height as mediums anyway and when loaded down and trailer hooked up it doesn't squat down to much. The real issues I have with them is the front sits too low on a 4th Gen. I have them at Max height and unfortunately even that isn't enough to level it out. ARB has always stated their suspension is not a lift, but a complete suspension system and they all seem to maintain the factory rake however this setup on the 4th Gen in my opinion is too much. Having to pull them off to adjust the height is another poor design as all the other manufactures have designed theirs to be adjustable on the vehicle. Hopefully they will take some of these comments into consideration and redesign them so that these issues are no longer a problem. For the price they missed the mark in my opinion and I am long time ARB supporter. My last option is adding a top out space and longer bolts since clocking these with a bolt on spacer isn't an option with the reservoir hose fitting location. If that doesn't work than I will be selling them cheap and going back to ICON. This has been a very frustrating experience and very expensive installing, taking off, multiple alignments....etc. I have spoken with ARB several times about this and they do not have any remedy available yet. In fairness to ARB this setup may be just fine for some, but it doesn't work for me.

I just had my BP-51's installed a couple of weeks back. I ordered from Toytec and had an issue during the install with the driver's side reservoir mounting bracket (would not fit due to KDSS lines) - the one they sent me was a mirror of the passenger side bracket, but I was able to custom fab a mount that ended up working out perfectly. Before deciding to fab the bracket myself, I called ARB to see if their technicians could advise a solution, and they stated there is still no kit that is made specifically for the 5th gen 4Runner, just the FJ.
All details, I'm loving the ride and performance of the OME's so far. Not sure if this helps answer the question at hand!

So I can understand this correctly ...if I were to spend this type of money $$$ on a coilover suspension setup ..I get a shock that adjust in height just the same as a Bilstein 5100? Or like getting the toytec coilover kit for $ not $$$. Wow

Wish I could provide some more insight for you here, but I agree with @greatape that the only difference would be the way the reservoirs are mounted.
The information that there still hasn't been a 5th gen 4Runner kit made by OME, came from David at Toytec and the guys at ARB. Not sure if they are actually correct or if they just sent me the wrong mounting bracket.. either way it might be worth a call to them directly to clarify.

I'm curious what you all have your compression and rebound at? I know the settings "could" change based on rear springs, load, front weight blah blah blah, but would still like to hear a few numbers from folks and your experiences off road at those settings.
For the Front, I'm at Rebound 6 and Compression 8 - Pre-load is also set to 12mm from the original 20mm

Why? I don't know. I changed them up a bit when I was on Mojave Road last November messing around in the sand and haven't touched them since. I've since added a front bumper and ditched the Gobi rack. Need to pull them off and re-adjust the pre-load for the bumper and battery.
