U should be ok with brass fittings as a last resort. If not try hydraulic supply co. And ive hed a lot of luck on ebay. Search it as the size u need followed by npt.

Yup, it actually, JUST arrived a minute ago. I'm going to drill into the front bumper to mount it, there's like an inch of clearance between the tank and the radiator. It's tough to fit everything under the hood. The compressor will be mounted behind the intake.
I' gonna go take a pic, someone tell me this isn't a terrible idea. I'm worried if I ever get in an accident the tank will crush the radiator.

Both of your radiators. There's 2 there one for your A/C and the one for your engine.. Either way lets see it in action...

mounted the tank. It was a nightmare. I removed the front bumper skin, would have been impossible to do without doing this. the hoels didnt work well with the cut of the bunmper, i had to drill an access hole for the top bolt, i didnt have a big enough drill bit, it was impossibl,e but it's in place and invisible. I got a regulator for 5 bucks today and some more tank fittings for 10, add that to the total at 152

just saw i cracked the bushing down a hard. oh well itll grow back :redbrick:
SEE the space between the bumper, the bolt goes through that space instead of through the inner and outer skins. this didnt require an access hole, but i had to drill a new hole on the bracket for the tank. I also had to use a longer bolt. WHich was too wide, because i'm a dumbass. So inside the grommet there's a metal spacer which i had to widen and cut a slit in to make the bolt fit. it was a pain
but i'd rather have 2 more cylinders than room :heh:

its a lot easier with just the compressor im imagining. I just have to disconnect the ground wire for the maf i should be able to leave the air box in place.
did you mount it with grommets or rubber feeties or anything? i dont want that mf jiggling around in there

I went and got rubber washer pieces and mounted it on those. It shakes the floor a bit for the passenger but i cant hear it at all. Im really happy with it.

im gonna impact the F out of those bolts. this thing isnt shaking anything. So would adding air horns be wicked easy now? DO they sell just horns without a compressor? i'd love some air horns
edit i also have some extra prothane rear link bushings, think i could use those like feet?

very possible. Mine doesnt shake, it vibrates the floor. Its just the nature of the beast with the compressor.
Train horns would be very easy. You just need the horns and a solenoid.

oh you mean only when it's on? hah i thought you meant just the shaking from it driving. Yeah hopefully the rubber feet will help with that, or the prothane bushings whatever i decide to use. a lot of the horns claim teh require a 3 gallon tank. what model are you using?

im using Siege 4 trumpet. I only have a 1 gallon. i dont push and hold, just short bursts when needed. Had zero issues.
Edit: Looks like siege may have gone out of business.

Im on my phone or i'd link you. Any 4 trumpet train horn should be sufficient, just look for some with reviews.
