Looks pretty stupid to me, actually. I'm glad they're not using a 4R. Let the Jeep guys get the bad PR.looks cool would have been beter in the runner lol:boxer:
really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you guys dont think it will be cool. wow i guess i am all alone on this a?
you're not alone on this. this looks cool to me no matter the vehicle used. reminds me of camel trophy minus the land rovers. wow. so many naysayers on this.
I didn't see any trails there, and most of those places are probably hundreds of miles away from any traversable trail. I don't think trail damage and erosion for a once off are really of much concern.
Overall the concept may be interesting and will put it on my DVR schedule. Then I'll judge if it sucks or not after I actually watch it, old school style.
Agree. If the first episode explains the damage this may do to the overall environment or where ever they put themselves, then I can go with it. And I don't mean a "don't try this at home" or "professional drivers on a closed road" kind of crap. DC needs to explain to viewer the potential damage this causes to the kind of people that think this will be ok to do in their local forest road or trail. There are too many people that think it's ok to BLAST through a water crossing without knowing what kind of damage this does to our surroundings, not to mention our vehicles.
If we don't monitor ourselves, someone else eventually will.

That looks fun, definitely beter than hatting.
I'm gonna get a helicopter to drop me off there too so I can ruin the scenery!
Seriously. How many people are going to get inspired by that and hire a helicopter? I don't think that mountain's environment is in much danger.
