One FogLight not working

I’ve got a 2010 4runner, the right fog light isn’t working but the left side is, I’ve tried switching out the bulbs and it still doesn’t work, I’ve checked if the fuse is blown it’s not, what else could it be? Could it be the wiring? If so how do I go about fixing or replacing that. Appreciate the help in advance.

Also check for voltage at the bulb socket/connector. If you don't have 12 volts there then the socket/connector may be corroded and need to be cleaned or replaced. Lights are simple things; 12 volt positive and a ground. Either the bulb is bad, ground is bad or it's not getting 12 volts.

I pretty much have no knowledge on wiring/lighting except putting in bulbs lmao, is it worth going into a mechanic shop or is it simple enough for me to diagnose and fix

Usually these things are easy to fix but being able to use a multimeter (device used for testing the wire for voltage or continuity) is a big plus. How does the socket look? Have you tried squirting some WD-40 in there?

I'm not sure what the socket looks like on cars with LED bulbs. A picture always helps. Older sockets like on my 2004 just have a brass button at the bottom of the socket. That's where the 12 volt for the light comes in and the rest of the metal on the socket is the ground. Does that brass button in the bottom look clean and shiny or corroded? Possible to get a picture?

At Lowes or Home Depot in the hardware section there are spray cans of something called tuner cleaner or just electrical contact cleaner. I use CRC brand but any contact cleaner can help. The socket should be clean and free of crud
