Options for a bad NAV head unit in an 06 Limited?

I found an 06 Limited for sale that has everything I want... black, V8, & 4wd ... but the NAV head unit is bad in it. I called the dealer and they quoted me $3264 for a new one. Are there any other options or should I just pass on this vehicle? I'm assuming an aftermarket head unit won't work because of the JBL system? Thanks!

You can get an aftermarket head unit and get an interface device that will allow you to use it with your afermarket head unit

Cool and if I wanted to stick with an OEM head unit which vehicles are compatible?

Check around your area. Maybe there's an electronic store that has experience repairing head unit.
