Options for modding panamera shrouds for 3rd gen retroF

Hey folks,

I'm going to do a retrofit real soon and I bought the Panamera shrouds from TRS but I want to mod them in a way that blocks some of the light.

You can see from the picture below that there are these four Os in the shroud that let light through. I would like to cover those up and paint over them so that in the end it looks more like a large X over the halo, similar to my current Apollo shrouds.

How would you do it? Any ideas?

I was thinking maybe strong tape from the inside to close the gap then paint them with standard high temp paint. The pics below are from another members retrofit.

I'd cut some SS or aluminum pieces and epoxy them in from the inside.

You can then fill the holes from the outside and paint them any color you want, or install colored LED bulbs in the holes and use them as DRLs

I would paint the lens "aluminum" or "chrome" from the inside. I'm doing the same with my Panemeras. Not really into halos, but all the other shrouds were too... gaudy looking. I think I'll just have them on when the headlights are on to light up the housing.
