Ordered '18 TRD Pro

I can tell you that I "ordered" mine in September and was told that they'd let me know when they had it allocated. (Found out about a month ago that it was allocated, went into production the week before Christmas, and is due to hit the port this week!) There were no factory installed options but I asked for the cargo tray and they were going to try to get it added to the factory build. Not sure if they did but I could choose from any of the port installed accessories. Slide out cargo tray or not...I'm excited!
 
I put a deposit down in October and my dealership finally called me and told me that they got the allotment and I should have it by the end of February. I is in the build process and then it still needs to be shipped. I also picked the super white color.
 
I know of a white one coming in to FL is was for me but i sourced one on the 31st (without the cargo which I preferred)

44-45k a few options plus cargo

Arrives around the 15th of this month.. Let me know if you need details
 
New to the forum but put a deposit on a new TRDP last weekend. It was already allocated to my dealer but should be in my hands within a few weeks. Looking forward to getting into a 4runner after a few Tacomas
 
I recently got a 2018 Off-Road Premium in November. I'm glad I didn't have to wait on a "special order". The dealer in San Jose had just what I wanted in stock. I just had it in today for its first 5000 mile service. You will love yours too.
 
I'm still looking for one. Most of the ones I've found were either "just sold 10 minutes ago" or "pre-ordered for someone else".. I've heard that I need to wait two to seven months if I would like to order one. Go figure.

I'm surprised there aren't more blue ones around,being as I can't be the only heterosexual male that thinks that particular color is feminine.I almost pre-ordered one looking at the Toyota website,because that particular shade of Calvary Blue was awesome looking on the Toyota website.

Then I seen one on the 101 in September in Nocal and was glad I got my Magnetic Grey TRD-ORP.

Just got back from CA again and took my moms RAV4 in for service and they had TRD Pro Tacoma...market adjusted for $5k over sticker lol

Just bought a 2018 ORP at Dave Edwards in South Carolina. I believe they had two PRO's that just arrived. They gave me a good deal on my ORP w/ sunroof non kdss $35,335 before TTT. Tony Jackson was my salesman and he was great!

Btw, as others have stated, until you have your build sheet, keep looking and have backup dealerships getting one as well.
 
I’ve had mine for over a year now, but when I ordered mine it took almost exactly two months to get in. I opted for three options - wheel locks, the cargo deck, and the paint protection package. I use the deck all the time, and my bungee cords stay hidden in that little hidden compartment and don’t rattle. I love it. You’ll love yours when you get it. Mines got close to 42,000 miles on her now, and thankfully at least a thousand off road haha. Post some photos when you get it!

Headed to my 2 local dealers this coming week..(2 if the first one doesn't pan out)
Going to put an order in for a Calvary Blue for the wife..
2 years ago we continplated ordering a black one, dealer made it seem like a hastle, got told there was a 6mo wait time, ended up with a 15 sr5
Last year looked into ordering a cement..got pregnant, new house, life got busy and it got put on the back burner...
My neighbor drove like 4hrs to get a TRD pro tundra, been modding it since he got it, so that got me thinking again...
This year I saw the Calvary blue and we were sold on it..hoping to actually pull the trigger on the TRD pro this time

Question To those who traded in while ordering ... how'd that work out for you ? Get a trade evaluation price and negotiate the Msrp of the trd pro from there ?

Looking to trade in the 15 sr5 with 35k miles..black on black, tow hitch, nav, running boards, roof rack, black wheels with brand new Falken Wildpeak at3's.. If it comes down to it I could always just sell it in the mean time while waiting for the trd to ship and go from there but just curious how the dealer reacts to a trade in that you won't technically be trading in for another 6-8 weeks..

My buying experience with various toyota dealers has been interesting.

Bayside toyota in Price Frederick Md
I see a calvary blue TRD PRo 4runner. I go in talk to a salesman and test drive the car. Their selling price was sticker plus $5k on top. Their final price out the door was $995 off which was about $49k out the door.

I leave and tell them im gonna go look at antwerpen in clarksville.

Next day they ask why i left, i told them im gonna look at the one at antwerpen which was listed at msrp. The sales guy that called was not the guy that i origionally talked to but another sales guy since the dude that helped me was in training since he was new. He says do we have a deal if we sell at antwerpens price which was 44k and some change then the tax tags title on top which will total around 48k. I tell the sales guy im busy and cant do anything.

Fast forward another day the sales manager calls and gives me some bs saying he has some never done before deals etc. says hell give me another 1000 off out the door price. I decline and he accuses me of not ever having interest in buying which i tell him not for 5k above msrp.

I ended up going to antwerpen and test drive the truck and evrything. Their price was 4k above msrp. The sales manager wouldnt even give me a price out without wanting to sign paperwork. So i leave. Sales man calls back the next day and follows up and i ask if he has a number, and he says its 4k above msrp. I decline and tell him i put a deposit on one from


Few days later I put a deposit on a super white trd pro 4runner at another dealer that is selling at msrp. Set to arrive april 1.
