It's not controlled by the ground. The CAN circuit (computer) sends a signal to light it. Just like when I did my foglight MOD, and couldn't get that LED to light.

I enjoyed trying to figure this out though, and I learned a lot. The mod still works for non-Trail Editions ...

Did the cup holder LED mod today and all I can say is f**king outstanding!
You my friend are missing your calling, maybe become Mayor of this place or a Toyota engineer.

Tomorrow is the drivers/passengers LED floor lighting tied into the headlight circuit.
Thinking of doing either purple or blue LED's....will look good with the black interior and not overwhelming.
