P0171 - I've Had Enough Of Your Crap Thread!!!

So the follow parts have all been ordered:

- Brand New Intake Assembly
- OEM MAF Sensor <<<<<<<<<
- IK22 Spark Plugs
- NGK Blue Spark Plugs
- TRD "O" Gasket
- Denso O2 Sensor

Hoping all this will make my 3rd gen run at its best.

Most likely it is your MAF.

The other things would be good to replace just because there wear items.

I've replaced all the parts, seems to be running a lot better now, fuel consumption is a huge improvement. My check engine light did come on unfortunately so I'm thinking its a leak, did noticed a few cracks around the hoses when I was replacing the intake. Going to replace those along with a new PCV valve, hopefully its the answer.

Just an update raced my fiancée in an 08 TL auto, had her off line, had about half a car length up until just about 70mph. Before the tune up, she would eat me like I was standing still off the line. I know we shouldn't be racing but we were on an empty highway middle of the night with no one in sight...lol! I was curious if there was improvement, my fiancée was disappointed though...lol!

Do you have a first gen or second gen charger? If its the first (tan) I chased the same code and found the elbow on the back of the supercharger sucking air. Sprayed a little brake clean around it and it would change rpms.

Have a 1st gen, me and buddy are going to take a look at all the vacuum lines and hopefully no more check engine light.
