This happened to me when installing my lift, Just took some jacking and lowering on either end to get it to line up. This was probably the most frustrating part. So just jack up one side or lower another, see which one you need and go little by little and eventually you'll get it lined up.

I had the same issue. Put the truck chassis on jack stands and remove the rear shocks from the axle, then use a jack between one of the wheel and the body to line up the holes.

Ratchet strap from frame on one side to the axle on the other. Run it on the same plane as the panhard.

These suggestions work, but require too much effort. Just have one person lay under the truck ready to slide the bolt in, and have another person rock the rear of the truck back and forth by pushing against the body. Once the bar and hole are aligned, the bolt can be slid right in (at least partially, and then you can tap it with a hammer to get in all the way in).

try and push the axle to the passenger side of the vehicle. its because its too short and wont reach with the different angel its placed on.

move jack the vehicle up form the frame so the axle/ tires are almost off the ground (making it easier to move) then try and push the axle. this should be enough to slide the bolt back it. Good luck!
