Panhard bar question

Thanks for advice! Given the rust on the rest of the axle, I’ve started looking for either a used housing or complete axle. At this point, more concerned about getting something that works well (and will be easy to work on) then saving a few bucks.

A complete axle swap is pretty straightforward, and pretty fun, if you've got modest wrenching experience. The hardest part is finding one in good shape for a good price. When I did mine last fall, I ended up finding a matching elocked 4.30 axle from WA for under $800, SHIPPED, on eBay. The whole thing. Again, I got very lucky. I also redid all of the bushings in my rear UCAs, LCAs, panhard bar, and lower shock bushings with Energy poly bushings, and the thing is PLANTED now.

The PCK corrects for a minimum of 2” (which is what I run) - but to actually know if it will benefit you you will need to measure the vertical height of each end of the panhard bar to find your actual rear lift height (at your typical load level). If it’s 2” or more, the PCK will improve things.
