Panhard Correction Kits for the 4th gen - fix that panhard bar angle!

Recently got my lift installed and am sitting at about 4" of lift in the rear empty. Rear bumper will be going on shortly and being loaded up for camping I imagine it'll settle 1" or so.



I haven't noticed any steering or control issues but perhaps just don't know that there are any. My question is if I still have my rear sway bar on (front is off) will I still benefit from this?



Here's a pic of my panhard bard. There is definitely an angle and I'm sure the kit will level it out nicely, just wondering if having the rear sway bar on makes it pointless.

I’m more worried about the rust on your lower control arms. Wire wheel and paint, your rig will thank you! Also, I really like the look of those black TE wheels, I almost did the same but figured it wouldn’t look as good on a white rig.

I only have a 3" lift, and did the panhard relocation. The change is subtle, but I hated the feeling of getting my rear-end thrown sideways with each bump at road speed. It is indeed noticeably improved now, but it's not a "night-and-day" change.

The panhard and swaybar have completely different jobs, and I'd suggest the swaybar's effect on tracking is insignificant. Whether the panhard relocation is worthwhile is debate-able (I'm glad I did it) but I'd say no, having a swaybar does not make it pointless. I run both with and without swaybars, and properly positioned panhard does its job regardless, especially since our rear sways are not especially stout anyway.

I just realized I can raise and lower my rear airbags, so I can check the angle of the rear panhard when I lower it 1.5” and raise it like 1.5”.

Does the pangard cause a lean to one side if the angle is bad?

There's basically 3 settings. Stock, 1-1.5, and 2.5-3" roughly.

Both my buddies and my Runner don't have no body roll in rear at all when take turns.

It helped reduce body roll on my truck, with a 4x4labs rear bumper, metaltech 3" lift springs, and a 35" tire on the swingout. I don't have any sway bars, I removed the front and rear one broke.

I have one but haven't installed it yet. Picked up a new welder over the weekend and will be welding it soon.
