parking break light ON when brake fluid low?

Yup, it does that when the fluid is low. Threw me, too, I spent an hour checking my ebrake cable trying to figure where it was hung up.

You might want to diagnose why your fluid level is low. It sometimes means your pads are getting worn down and so it is taking more fluid to push them in, or you have a slow leak in your system somewhere. I'm pretty sure you don't want either of those so I would suggest checking your pads to see if their low, and if not trying to find out why your are losing fluid.

the first give away might have been that the brake fluid cap has a sensor built into it???? now what could that be for i wonder.....lol

and mr college educated didn't know about a sensor for fluid capacity and the dumb grunt did......FYI this dumb grunt has a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the university of michigan.
