My owner's manual says there are 2 modes. Mine definitely has 3 different modes. Anyone else notice this?

If I depress the party mode button only halfway, I get a much different sound than all the way depressed, or all the way out.

On my non jbl/nav trail model there's only 2 modes, crappy and crappier. I'm just too cheap to upgrade as I mostly listen to talk/news radio. And there's better things to spend (in my case) like roof rack and LED lights.
 
doesnt party mode just turn off the rear stages and send amplified power to the cargo area speakers and front doors? for say tail gaiting?

I dont know about you but when I press party mode this is all I see in my rearview mirror...

lol i still can't figure out whether I have party mode on or off. My wife does tell me that I should get my hearing checked on a regular basis ;):
 
Party Mode plays all Disco music from the 70's!

No your not the only one. They should have it were it lights up or something that tells you it's on. I actually get out of my truck and open the tailgate to listen if they are on.
 
weird...my party mode never worked until i did the "party mode always on" mod. now it makes sense, and I party all the time.
 
I thought mine was off, since the button was "out" but it was actually "on" as I discovered after about a week of having my new 4R. I pressed the button "in" and the speakers in the front suddenly had more sound coming from them. I called my salesman and he confirmed, that when the button in pressed "in" the party mode is actually "off" thus you hear more sound from the front speakers. That's how you tell since there is no light on it, telling you it's on.

They need a light here AND on the garage door buttons...too damn hard to see which one to push at night. :wtf:

Mine lights up when I have my headlights on. It gets slightly brighter when pushed in.

also... a coke mirror and 2 hookers pop outta the center console.

i hate these threads. makes me so damn jealous i dont have a party mode...

i want my 4r covered in glitter and wonder wtf happened! I WANT THAT!!!

i want to be able to push PARTY MODE and have my 4r turn into
