Passenger window one-touch rolldown mod?

Anyone change out the switch on the driver side for the passenger window to the one used for the driver side? I have a G35 that has the driver window AND passenger window one-touch rolldown on the driver side window switch panel. I'm so used to it that I one-touch the passenger side on the 4Runner thinking that the passenger window will roll down all the way but (stupid me) it rolls down 1/2 an inch.:bash:
Was thinking of changing the switch to the one like the driver side. Has anyone done this? I'm assuming that all you need is to get the factory driver side window switch and install it cuz all the mechanics is in the actual switch itself. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

This is going to be of absolutely no help to your situation, for that I apologize...

Toyota put auto buttons for the driver and front passenger on all '99 and up 4runners, did they really stop this with the 4th gens? That just seems backwards... FWIW my '00 has auto up/down for both front windows at the driver's controls and I believe also the passenger's.

Auto up and down starting in '99-? Did they just discontinue that feature in '07 or did all 4th gens not have it?

They did keep heated mirrors in all trim levels of 4th gens?

Iron, I don't think they put it on any 4th gen. My '00 has it - makes no sense to me why they discontinued it

Supposedly, the 4th Gens don't have it. My 07 sure doesn't. This is ridiculous. They had them in all trims for the 3rds...

Dont know anything about the heated mirrors.

Anyways I've searched the forum and there was a couple posts regarding the one touch windows. From reading, I figure I can't just buy the driver side switch and replace the passenger switch with it. I'm no E.E. but I guess there is a small circuit board that has a relay switch for the feature to work.

The only possible way to do this is to buy an aftermarket add-on circuit to do it.

So, I guess I'll scratch my plans for this mod.
