question about starting a "my build page/post"

how do you go about starting one?
is it a just a regular thread that you start and keep adding to?

since most of my mods will be nowhere close to how deep some of you go, i do intend to do some mods, but mostly cosmetic or non intrusive.

It's just a regular thread, if you want I think you can ask [MENTION=83862]jessie[/MENTION]1983 to add your thread to the sticky of build threads in case you want to make it more easy to find.

Just start your own thread then pm [MENTION=48772]Jesse1983[/MENTION] with the link and he will add it to the build sticky.
Some of us have started threads like [MENTION=93894]J-BlickPhoto[/MENTION] or [MENTION=66300]Intruder[/MENTION] that really does not talk about the build as much as what we do with our 4Runners.

Just create a thread and start posting. People will either read it or they won't Since it's your build thread you can also post the odd random thing that doesn't really belong anywhere else without starting a new thread and it won't be off topic since it's in your build thread.

thanks folks. i did look in the sticky on builds and kinda deduced they are regular posts by the links but wanted to make sure.

i did go thru some build pages but i will have to figure out some logic on how i want to arrange it.

too bad there isnt a way to put new mod postings at the tail end of your initial posts so they sit above others.

when i initially went thru antman's, his mod posts are all over the thread. so many outside posters bump some mods pages and pages past the original set of posts. it would be nice if they had consistency on flowing from mod to mod post.

guess someone smarter than me would have to make a plugin or something to enable something like this.

better yet, tied to your control panel like the garage feature.

Simple solution. When you post a new mod copy the link to that specific post. Then go back and edit the first post in your thread and add a link to that mod post. I want to say that sp8ball was doing that with his thread.

The first page of my build thread has links to every mod, like a table of contents.

There are also links to our camping trips, meet and greet, and other stuff that I like here on T4R.

It's the only way I can keep track of stuff for when I need to access it too!
