Was this thing just one Houston's Craigslist? I almost sold mine to buy it if it was... lol

Was it recently? If so yeah it was because I had the chance to purchase a low mileage tacoma 4x4. I decided to keep the 4runner because I figured right now while I'm in school its better to kept my debt low lol

I pulled it out of the garage to drive it for the first time in a couple months. I have only put about 150 miles on it since I purchased it lol. Here are some better pics of it.

I finally was about to track down a 2" adapter for my Yakima bike rack. Now I don't have to stick my bikes on the inside!

I do have a pile of parts in my garage that are waiting to be put on. I have OEM LBJ, Tacoma Bilsteins 5100s with Eibach coils, SS adjustable panhard bar, and Bilstein 5150s for the rear. Now I just need to get some 890 coils to finish the lift!

Sounds like a good lift set up and you need to drive it more. That's neglect...also you should buy these. Wheels and tires for sale - Tacoma World Forums good price and temporary 33's.

Ya it sucks seeing all the parts in the garage and not be able to out them on yet. I saw those but I am not a fan of the falkens becuase they look terrible after 50%. Ya I do need to drive it more but I'm paranoid about the LBJ failing on me.

Hey man! I was wondering what you're driving these days because I just pulled my tall springs and rear 1.25" coil spacer out of my runner. Was trying to think of someone in the area that could make use of them, but it sounds like you already have that stuff taken care of.

I bought my 4th 3rd gen 4runner yesterday! Its a 99 Highlander 5 speed with E locker and 137k miles. It came already with a Toytec Ultimate lift, Konig Countersteer Off Roads, and 285s KM2s. Ever since I have been into 4runners I have always wanted this exact setup and now I am so stoked to have it! It definitely needs some TLC but I love it already.

Did a couple things to the 4R today. First I took it to get washed for the first time in who knows how long. I could tell it had been a while.

I could some LED bulbs that I had laying around so I put them in the corner lights and license plate lights. I was very surprised how bright the corner lights were.

Have a few updates to post about. On Friday I bought some new 265 Duratracs because I wasn't a fan of the KM2s so I sold them to my buddy to put on his tacoma. I am really loving the Duratracs so far! Today I bought a Marlin Crawler clutch kit from a fellow member on here cause I have been trying to get one from MC but there are always sold out. I also gave her a quick wash after all of the rain last week.

Today I installed 02 tail lights that I bought from [MENTION=65111]kishanSR5[/MENTION]. The newer tail lights look so much cleaner than 96-00 tails. I also finally had my full size spare mounted up.

A little update on the rig. I gave it a really good wash on Sunday and also started taking the old TRD stickers off. What a pain that has been. Also about a month ago I was able to pick up a set of brand new front SR5 mud flaps that are extremely rare :biggrin2:. Now I am in the process of looking for a set of the rears to complete the set.

Well guys I picked up my 5th 3rd gen on Wednesday. It's a 99 Highlander 4wd 5 speed e locker with 225k miles and I picked it up from the original owner. Awhile back I sold my back one to a member on here and picked up a low mile (87k) 2004 Double Cab 4wd Tacoma and drove that around for a while but it was in such good shape that I never wanted to take it wheeling so I sold that for a nice profit. One day I was browsing craigslist for a vehicle for my little brother who just turned 16 and this 3rd gen popped up for an amazing deal, so I called the guy and was able to talk him into taking down the ad till we could come see it. We headed up to Austin to see it and after looking at it my brother decided that he would rather have a civic so I couldn't let the deal pass up so I bought it. My girlfriend wasn't too happy that I bought another 4runner cause she says it's like a used 4wd Toyota dealer at our place. The previous owner took good care of the 4runner till he got his BMW and then he just started neglecting it. The 4runner definitely is in need some some TLC, it was filthy inside and out, has bald tires, the engine squeals when you drive it from the old belts, water pump and timing belt have never been done, and it has a few dents and dings for being parked on streets of Austin it's whole life. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to average 21.2 mpg on the way home. Well enough of me talking, here are the pictures.

Yesterday morning I got up early before all the heat rolled in to give it instant lift (removing the running boards), clean the interior, and install an alpine radio with aux hookup that way I can listen to music since the antenna is completely gone.

Now I'm on a search for a good used set of tires since this is going to be a budget build. I might just step up 17" wheels since there seems to be a lot more tires available for that size of wheels. So let the modding begin!:rockon:

Added some sequoia wheels that I got for a good deal on Craigslist.

The tires on the sequoia wheels were pretty much done for so I picked up 5 255/75/17 nitto trail grapplers. I will have to get used to the noise but I love the way they look!

Looks good! I love that size tire. Same exact size I'm running in a BFG KM M/T. After I put them on my dad put that size tire on his Tacoma in a Duratrac as well. Just a tad taller than a 265/70/17 and a little narrower.

Thanks! I really like this size too but the only problem is there isn't many tires available in it. I had no idea that you could get duratracs in that size. I would have gotten those instead lol.
