Thanks! I really like this size too but the only problem is there isn't many tires available in it. I had no idea that you could get duratracs in that size. I would have gotten those instead lol.

Yeah there's not much available. The duratracs in that size aren't an LT tire, but not a P tire either. They're a euro spec or something like that I think but their specs are very close to that of a C range I think. I remember something like that I believe. Discount tire direct sells them as well as tire rack maybe.

Well after about 2 weeks of trying to decide which 4runner to keep, I finally came to a decision to keep the 99 Limited. The deciding factor was when I put the vin in on the Toyota service records page and huge list of maintenance records came up for the past 10 years. Plus the limited was in much better condition and seemed to drive a lot better so I am very happy with my decision. With it being a nice day here in Texas (most of the day in the high 70s - low 80s) which is a rare occasion, I decided to do some light wheeling. I was very impressed at some of the stuff I got through with no rear locker or 4wd, the Nitto Trail Grapplers have awesome grip off road which I guess makes up for how loud they are on the street. Here are a few pictures from today

The other day Wal Mart lost one of my center caps as your can see in the pictures. At first they didn't want to do anything about it but I made them purchase me a new one from the factory so that should be here in a couple days. There are a few maintenence items that I need to do like LBJ, OTRE, radiator, B&M 70264 trans cooler, and flip the thermostat cause it seems to run around 198 all the time.

Yesterday I added LED tail lights, clear corners, and turn signals. I also made it to where the door chime doesn't go off when the keys are in ignition and the drivers door is open. Now I can listen to music while working on the truck without that annoying chime.

Today I changed most of the bulbs to LEDs. Most of the lights were burned out so these made a huge difference. For some reason I couldn't get the ect/rr window buttons to light up.

How'd you disable the door chime?

The LED's and taillights look good too, I keep debating doing those on my truck even though they're purely aesthetic mods.

Thanks man! I mainly bought the set for the clear corners since that's the only way I could get the 99-02 clear corners. I followed this from Tacoma world and it worked on the 4Runner.

Those look good! No hot spots either. I also swapped to white a few years ago, but they look more blotchy, and they flicker more often than not. If you don't mind, where did you order these?

Mine actually do have hot spots but you can't tell from the pictures. I ordered them from superbrightled.com but I wouldn't recommend them because only a few of the neo wedge a would fit that they sent me.

Got some goodies for the 4runner this weekend. Picked up a first gen supercharger and the seller also threw in a set of JBA headers. I can't wait to install it! Also my Tru Cool 4590 finally came in so now I can finally bypass the stock radiator that has 197k miles one it. :lookout:

Haven't updated this thread in a while, about a month ago a few member contacted me to inform me that he knew of a 99 white 5 speed with 89k miles that might be coming up for sale soon. So I put my limited up for sale and within less than 24 hours I had a deposit on it. After selling the limited I made my way up to Dallas to pick up the white 4runner. When I first bought it already has some 285s, 1.5" spacer lift, and some Trail wheels off of a 2015 4runner. As soon as it got it home I immediately took off the 285 because I am not a fan of them and put my sequoia wheels with 255s Nitto Trail Grapplers. Ever since working at Toyota in high school I've always wanted to own a 3rd gen and then once I found out that they came in a 5 speed, I wanted a 99-00 white 5 speed. I couldn't be happier with my purchase even though a couple of problems have happened since purchasing it.

I've had to help my grandmother out a couple of times pay some medical bills so that's why I've had to sell them. She has had about 5 surgeries in the past 3 years and so I've tried to help her out as much as I can even if that means selling my toy. Now that I won't have to sell my toy I figured I would get exactly what I want.

I haven't updated this thread in a while. I haven't been driving the 4runner much lately because I have the dreaded rear axle seal leak but don't want to replace all the stuff that is recommend because I'm planning on swapping a e locked rear axle under it. I ditched the Nitto trail grapplers cause they were so heavy and had no need for a mud tire and replaced them with a set of 5 star wheels wrapped in 265/75/16 Cooper ATPs. Also picked up some 906 coils and Fox 2.0 rear shocks. I still have the TRD Supercharger and DT headers sitting in my garage that i've been procrastinating installing. This week I picked up a factory cargo liner that I have only seen once in another 3rd gen.

I was also able to find a set of the elusive SR5 front mud guards so now I just need to find a set of the SR5 flares.

I really love that cargo liner. So would you say these cargo liners are so rare it'll be nearly impossible to find? Because I really want one now. Loving the build so far btw
