Ya, give us a report on the HIR bulbs, I've been reading about them, and wanted to try them out.

I have the HIR's in my high beams. They are much brighter than stock, but they are not much "whiter" in color, but I got the Toshiba ones. They also have a much better spread of light. I like mine! Which brand did you get? Toshiba? IPF?

Where did you guys order HIR bulbs from? Do they come in yellow and in 9006 size? I would rather get these than pay for HIDs for the foglights.

I bought the Toshiba ones. I've heard many good things about them so I'm sure they're awesome. The only thing I'm a little worried about is blinding people with my fog lights. At first I was worried about the wattage difference between the 9012 (9006) HIR's and the stock fog lights. Our fog lights run off of 51 watts and the 9012's are 55 watts. I double checked with a ton of other people and they said that it wouldn't make that much of a difference at all. I'm really excited for the fogs to go in because they're supposed to be around twice as bright as the stock fogs!

I ordered them from ebay. If you search "HIR" then you'll see the toshiba bulbs.

If you were thinking about ordering some, now is the time because they're 10% off the normal price. I've never seen them go on sale before...

They don't come in a yellow color. I wish they did though. I was thinking about getting a yellow clear bra film and putting it on the fog light lens but I'm not sure... I wouldn't get HID's in the fogs just because of the high cost. I'm going to install my HID's in a couple of hours. My truck is in the shop getting a clear bra put on as we speak! . I'll update with pictures.

Hey Gene, any pics on the HIRs and also the clear bra? Im interested in the bra but got a $600 phone quote, kinda $$ to me, how much did you pay? Also where to get the HIRs ?
