Hello,

I am new to this forum and am looking forward to hear your opinions and idea/feedback.

I have been searching around on this forum and haven't found any 4th gen 4Runner with LED DRL light on. I think they look good, especially on a dark 4Runner. The guys at tacoma world put them on and it looks like this:

If any of you have experience with LED DRL, what do you think?

I have to admit this DRL is one of the better looking aftermarket DRL's I've seen. Where did you find it? What site lists this for sale?

Edit: Just searched for them and found this LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) | PowerBulbs

That's expensive - over $300. I wonder how that would look on our trucks......

that's the only place that has it for over $300. Most places have it for around $190. You can buy one from Amazon with $189 + free shipping.

According to Philips, they say the LED in the kit are the same as the OE used in audi and mercedes. The LED give out 440 lumens so that it can be seen even in direct sun light.

Check out lightwerkz or the retrofitsource, u get something simular, i do alot of ebay, why do u need drl? Drl or no drl wont prevent accidents, maybe try some dark amber lights to make it stand out in the day time.

i knoe hella makes some too, if u really need bright , must find something that uses cree leds. they are bright on car applications, also flashlights. im using a cree led on my reverse, they are alot brighter than the 13smd 5050 led i had in there, though its not as bright as halogens. if u must have leds in the reverse, do the stealth back up light mod too.
