Phone not connected yet an incoming call keeps ringing

The wife started the truck this morning so she must of done something. My cell phone is not connected to the bluetooth yet I keep getting an incoming call. When I hit the end call button it will ring 3 to 5 seconds later. Took a video on my drive this morning. 2011 5th Gen Limited.

Any way to reset the unit or other advice other than go to the dealer?

I have a 2011 LE as well and every once in a while the NAV unit is stuck on a call that is disconnected, but I have never had this issue where it keeps ringing again and again. In those instances when the nav seems to be stuck, I have turned off the truck and the phone and the problem has corrected itself.

Something similar happened to me once. An outgoing call popped up on my screen. I thought I'd pocket dialed, so I quickly pressed End. Then it happened again, so I restarted my phone. While my phone was off, the call started again... all outgoing calls. :shocked:

I then realized what was happening. I drove my gf to pick up her car. She got in her car and drove away. I was following her a few car lengths back and it was apparently close enough that her iPhone was connecting to my Bluetooth and her outgoing calls were playing in my truck. Impressive range but definitely had me confused for a minute.


You can unpair and re-pair your Bluetooth to see if that helps.

Since the Navigation unit utilizes a HDD, try hard-resetting the system. disconnecting the battery terminals.

I was able to pair the phone which stopped the ringing, will keep you posted if this happens again.
