PIC REQUEST: 5th Gen w/ Third Row Seats

I thought a fold down split section on my T4R fits tight but it's not. It's tight between a left side seat but there is a gap towards a right side seat. And I believe there is a reason for a gap...right seat slides back and force to allow an easy access to 3rd row. In my case you can see a gap from behind only, from inside gap is almost invisible because of a padding on my leather seats.
I'll take another picture from inside a little bit later so you can see how a factory leather trim is done.

I'm loving your compartment in the back.. Where did you get that from?!

I have the exact same gap. I'm wondering if the gap has something to do the the center section latching to the driver side portion of the rear seat causing the gap on the passenger side?

My 2010 Limited 3rd row def has a gap. I don't have a pic of mine readily available, but searching for 3rd row seat 4runners on CarMax, even new ones have the gap. So, I guess it's "normal."

There doesn't appear to be such a gap on 2-row only 4Runners...
