Depends where you're driving it. My stock 2000 looks pretty tame on the road but put it in it's natural habitat on a trail and it looks pretty rad.

Good list. My uncle's property manager of his farm still drives a 92 Ram D150 with the Cummins in it. At 782,xxx miles it has needed only one overhaul and two transmissions. I can't tell ya how much welding Kenny has done to the frame of that truck though.

My dad has a 74 restored Bronco done by my brother and his friend.

If you haven't ridden over rough terrain in a Unimog, do so. It should be on everyone's bucket list. Never gotten a chance to ride in the original H1.

My first vehicle was a 68 Bronco. I put a bunch of money into and sold it next to nothing. Wish I would have held onto it.

Yes but still looks like a mini van. A 1g had so much more character

It's Car & Driver, they don't know a thing about actual trucks, for which any SUV is not a truck.

Road and Track is even worse. I have to laugh every time they have an "off-road" test, and all the photos are on a perfectly graded dirt ROAD, a fuggin' Honda Civic could handle.

The Ford SVT Raptor has to be at the top of the list, with the latest Ram Power Wagon after that. I've a lot of miles in both those vehicles and for a factory offering they are very, very, capable, especially the Raptor which has no equal from any manufacturer.

I still hate myself for selling my 85 from time to time. For what I use my vehicles for, it made sense to sell it and keep this one. Doesn't make it an easier pill to swallow though.
