Pics of BackupCam removed

Hi All~

I am currently emailing with Nathan from CBI Offroad Fab on modifying their Premium Spare Tire carrier to re-route my backup camera to their hitch based tire carrier and he is requesting photos of the backup camera removed from the tailgate of the truck to see how it is mounted. I have long wanted to get a rear tire carrier bumper, but no way I can drop the $2k-ish on a custom job, so when I saw this Fold Down Tire Carrier PREMIUM MODEL, Cbioffroadfab I got all sorts of excited! Then I realized I would go from having functional rear parking sensors and a camera (making parking this thing a breeze!) to neither + a huge spare tire/wheel in my window eliminating my rearward visibility, so I got sad. Then I sent them an email saying that I would (and probably others) be interested in their product if there was a way to salvage the use of the backup camera, and my mind got racing again. He thinks it will be do-able, just a matter of wiring it up and him creating a mounting location.

Long story short, anyone have any pictures available from prior projects of their camera assembly removed that I can send Nathan? Specifically how it mounts?

The camera wires are coming out of the hole to the far left- that white plug is the one.

I spliced in a real nice hi quality Alpine cam into the own harness right before it goes into the nav unit. Works great,cheap ($160 or so), and easy peezy to install. I would throw some pics up for Ya but I'm actually down in Peru at the moment, there are pics in my build thread though.:music:

SoCalTrail... I'm jealous.. Loved it in Peru. Go eat Guinea pig if you haven't yet. hard to get the meat off the little bones, but very good.
